Aegiss has no account and no server, so there is nothing to look up on our side. Telling us your phone model, your OS version and what the app said is what makes a question answerable.
Common questions
What is the score?
It is built only from checks that were actually measured on your phone. When the operating system refuses to disclose something, that check is reported as unreadable and drops out of the score entirely rather than being guessed at. A lower number means more of the things Aegiss could see are left open.
Why does the score change when nothing changed?
Some checks depend on the state of the device at that moment, such as whether a VPN is active or whether the screen is being recorded. Others depend on answers you gave, which expire after 90 days on purpose: a phone configured correctly last year is not evidence about the phone today.
It says my phone may be jailbroken and it is not.
Jailbreak detection is a heuristic, and Aegiss says so. Each indicator is shown with the reason it fired so you can judge it yourself instead of being handed a verdict. If you believe an indicator is wrong, email us the exact wording and we will look at the rule.
Why does iOS show fewer checks than Android?
iOS deliberately tells apps very little about the rest of the system, and that restraint is itself a security feature. Aegiss reads only what the sandbox honestly permits. Anything it cannot see becomes a question you answer rather than a value quietly invented.
Can Aegiss fix things for me?
No, and that is deliberate. Every fix is you, in your own settings. The app holds no permission to alter your device. What it does is take you directly to the exact system screen that changes the setting.

Deep links into system settings vary by manufacturer and OS version. When a destination is unavailable Aegiss falls back to the closest screen it can reach. Send us your phone model and OS version and we will add a route.
How do I delete what the app knows about me?
Settings, then Erase what Aegiss remembers. That clears your saved answers and your invite code from the device. Deleting the app removes the same data. Nothing was ever sent anywhere, so there is nothing else to delete.
Does Aegiss need an account or an internet connection?
Neither. Every check runs on the device, offline. The only time the app opens the network is when you tap a link that goes to a web page, which opens in your browser.
